Welcome to St. Werburgh's Church in the village of Kingsley.
St. Werburgh's is one of five churches in the Mid-Churnet Benefice comprising of, St. Werburgh's Kingsley, Holy Trinity, Oakamoor, St. John's Cotton, St. Mildred's Whiston and St. Mark's Foxt.
Apart from our Church Services, St. Werburgh's is a very active Church offering a wide range of activities with something for everyone.
For details of our services and special events, please visit the Services/Events section of this page.
We have a Parent and Toddler Group which meets in Kingsley Village Hall (car parking available) on a Tuesday 2.00p.m - 3.00p.m. during term time. This is a great way to meet new friends and chat over refreshments, while the children play, have a themed story with games, crafts and prayer.
The church also has a Craft Club which is open to everyone, some people just come along for a chat - details will be put into the events section of this page. We also have a choir, flower arranging team, bell ringing and a thriving Mothers' Union Branch. Our Benefice magazine is available every month.
Whatever your age, we have an activity for you! We would love you to come along to our services, events or activities.
For information about Weddings, Christenings or Funerals please contact our Rector Sue Symons.
